Universal Orlando’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort is now open

Universal Studios Orlando opened its latest resort, the Cabana Bay Beach Resort on Monday.

Located on-site at Universal Orlando Resort, the new hotel is a destination within itself, featuring a stunning design with bold colors, retro-inspired architecture and sweeping vistas that transport guests back to a time of relaxation and endless family fun.

U.S. issues crime warning for Bahamas

If you’re planning on visiting the Bahamas, be extra careful, as Nassau is experiencing an uptick in armed robberies, according to the latest warning from the US Embassy there.

The latest warning cited five incidents that took place in Nassau between March 16 and 22. They included the robbery of a motorcycle during which the owner was shot in the thigh, an attempted carjacking, an attempted armored truck robbery in Cable Beach, shootings outside a nightclub and suspicious behavior by three individuals out on bail for previous robberies.

Star Wars VII ‘will return to ice planet Hoth’

If you’ll be visiting Iceland this May, you may see some places being used for filming Star Wars Episode VII.

Filming is not officially set to begin until May but Icelandic news site Visir reports that the Star Wars crew may begin work on scenes in Iceland as early as next month.
