TSA tackles lines in Atlanta

The Transportation Security Administration’s own Kip Hawley will visit Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport to help security teams there shorten security lines. According to the Associated Press, Georgia’s congressional delegation wrote to Hawley last week and asked for help. Each year, 86 million people pass through Hartsfield-Jackson. According to the report, wait times have been an hour or more on Monday mornings with an influx of business travelers, and during holidays and the summer months. On less traveled days, wait times are often just 15 to 20 minutes.
