Unions move ahead on AA-US Airways merger

Leaders of the pilots union at American Airlines have approved a framework for a labor agreement if the merger between the airline and US Airways goes ahead.

On the morning of Saturday, December 29, the Allied Pilots Association Board of Directors voted 11 to 5 to approve what’s called a “memo of understanding.”

The memo outlines temporary wages and work conditions if the two airlines merge.

Hong Kong will ring in the New Year in style

If you plan on being in Hong Kong for the New Year celebrations, get ready to be impressed.

Cars Land is on its way to Pasadena!

Disney’s California Adventure’s newest attraction will have its own float at the Tournament of Roses parade on New Year’s Day.

Lightning McQueen, Sally and other “Cars” stars are featured on the float, along with a floral replica of the Cars Land attraction that has been a big hit with park guests — Radiator Springs Racers.
