The first one goes to Japan’s All Nippon Airways. Boeing and All Nippon will have a delivery ceremony Monday outside the 787 factory in Everett, Wash., and the airline will fly the jet back to Tokyo on Tuesday.

Southwest responds to Leisha Hailey: ‘Behavior and not gender’

Southwest Airlines approached actress-musician Leisha Hailey only after other passengers complained about her kissing her girlfriend became too excessive.

Southwest said that its crew had “approached the passengers based solely on behavior and not gender” after receiving “several passenger complaints characterizing the behavior as excessive.”

Hailey complained Monday via Twitter that they had been booted from the flight “for being gay,” calling for a boycott of the airline and invoking the names of director Kevin Smith and Green Day musician Billie Joe Armstrong, who previously were asked to leave flights because of weight and saggy pants, respectively.

Confusion leads to man bringing guns on Air Canada flight

Miscommunication led to a British Columbia man to bring two guns onboard an Air Canada flight.

Aaron Haight and his wife were traveling to Ontario on June 14 so his mother could meet her 11-month-old granddaughter for the first time. While on the trip, Haight intended to participate in a shooting competition, and so brought a Glock 22 and another gun with him.

Haight says he was sure to get the proper authorization to fly with his guns from the RCMP.
