Group plans to revive Eastern Air Lines name

A new company called the Eastern Air Lines Group plans on reviving the Eastern Air Lines name.

Eastern Air Lines Group announced it has begun the necessary steps with the Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration to take to the air.

Eastern has filed for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity. It will begin its Part 121 certification with the FAA shortly.

If you’re a fan of the TV show The Simpsons, then you’ll love visiting Universal Studios Orlando.

The Simpson’s Ride at Universal Studios in Orlando first opened back in 2008 but only recently (last June) did the Florida theme park unveil Springfield, USA, the fictional hometown of Bart, Homer, Lisa, Marge and Maggie (and hundreds more).

We strolled through Springfield a few months ago and snapped 21 Things Simpsons Fans Will Love. They sure beat singing princesses.
