Budget guide 2013: Orlando

Believe it or not, there are ways that you can save money while vacationing in Orlando.

Theme park admission, hotel rates and dining aside, there are a variety of activities to do and places to see in Orlando that are free. The Downtown Disney area of Orlando is a good example and has free admission and entertainment. Every chain restaurant in the world, it seems, has a version of what they do here from TGI Fridays to The Capital Grille and everything in-between.

Boeing 787 grounding persists; Airbus comfortable with A350 batteries

Despite the grounding of the 787s because of problems with lithium-ion batteries, Airbus said that they are comfortable with using them on their A350 aircraft.

Speaking to reporters this week in France, Airbus president and CEO Fabrice Brégier said the company has no intention at this time to move away from using lithium ion batteries on the A350, according to Reuters.

Air Canada introduces Q400 service in Western Canada; increases capacity with next-generation aircraft

Air Canada Express has started using the Q400 for service between points in Western Canada.

Concurrent with rolling out new, state-of-the-art Bombardier Q400 Next Generation aircraft in these markets, Air Canada announced it is boosting capacity on key regional routes this spring and summer in response to demand.
