100 suitcases drenched in raw sewage after pipe bursts at Heathrow Terminal 5

One hundred suitcases at Heathrow’s Terminal 5 were drenched in raw sewage when a pipe burst.

The leak occurred in the terminal’s baggage hold on Monday, with travellers forced to leave their bags behind after the airport sent them off to be cleaned.

Many of the passengers are still waiting for their luggage to be returned.

United Airlines aircraft damaged in de-icing drill at Newark airport

A United Airlines plane was damaged when a de-icing equipment struck it during a drill.

The Boeing 757 aircraft was struck when de-icing equipment on a truck driven by a United employee struck the port-side engine, said Megan McCarthy, a United spokeswoman.

Marriott has made it easier for members to book rooms online.

Cash + Points, a new Marriott.com booking tool, allows members to combine nights paid with cash and redemption nights within a single reservation at over 3,600 hotels worldwide.
